Scripture: “And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.” — Matthew 6:4 (ESV)
Devotional
Much of your work goes unnoticed. The extra effort, the quiet compassion, the small acts of care—many of these are never recognized.
But God sees them all.
He sees the patience you show, the integrity you maintain, and the compassion you extend—even when no one else acknowledges it.
In a world that often values recognition and visibility, this truth is grounding. Your work does not need to be seen by others to be significant.
God values faithfulness, not attention.
When you serve with this perspective, you are freed from the need for recognition. You can work with quiet confidence, knowing that your efforts matter to Him.
Nothing you do in faith is wasted.
Serve faithfully—even in the unseen.
Reflection Questions:
• Do you ever feel discouraged when your work goes unnoticed?
• How does knowing God sees your work change your perspective?
Action Step: Do one act of kindness or diligence today without telling anyone, offering it quietly to God.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for seeing what others don’t. Help me to serve faithfully, knowing my work matters to You. Amen.
