Scripture: “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another.” — 1 Peter 4:10 (ESV)
Devotional
Your skills did not come by accident. The knowledge you’ve gained, the abilities you’ve developed, and the experience you’ve accumulated are all part of God’s design.
He has equipped you for this work.
In healthcare, your skills have real impact. They bring healing, clarity, and support to people in need. But beyond their practical value, they carry spiritual significance.
God uses your skills as tools for His purposes.
When you apply your training with care and integrity, you are serving others in a way that honors Him. Your competence becomes a platform for ministry. Your expertise becomes a channel for His provision.
It’s easy to separate “professional ability” from “spiritual purpose.” But in God’s design, they are connected.
You are not just skilled—you are equipped for service.
Use what God has given you faithfully. He will use it for more than you can see.
Reflection Questions:
• Do you see your skills as part of God’s purpose?
• How can you use your abilities more intentionally to serve others?
Action Step: Identify one skill you use daily and intentionally apply it today with the mindset that you are serving God through it.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for the skills You’ve given me. Help me to use them faithfully and for Your purposes. Amen.
