Growing Through Constructive Feedback [Residential Broker #173]
Scripture
The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice. Proverbs 12:15.
Devotional
Feedback can be uncomfortable, but it is one of God’s primary tools for growth. The most effective professionals—those who rise in excellence—invite feedback instead of avoiding it. They treat correction as a gift, not a threat.
Constructive feedback sharpens your skills, corrects blind spots, strengthens your communication, and prevents future mistakes. It protects you from stagnation and positions you for greater impact.
Scripture repeatedly affirms the wisdom of listening to counsel. God often speaks through mentors, clients, teammates, brokers, coaches, or even difficult experiences. Listening with humility allows you to receive wisdom you didn’t know you needed.
Growth begins where defensiveness ends.
