Guarding Against Compromise [Healthcare Professional #38]

Scripture: “Therefore let anyone who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall.” — 1 Corinthians 10:12 (ESV)

Devotional

Compromise rarely happens all at once. It begins with small decisions—justifying minor shortcuts, overlooking details, or allowing pressure to influence choices.

Over time, these small compromises can lead to larger ones.

Guarding your integrity requires awareness and intentionality.

You must recognize where you are vulnerable—fatigue, stress, pressure, or complacency—and take steps to protect your character.

Staying grounded in Scripture, prayer, and accountability helps you remain steady.

You are not immune to compromise—but you are responsible to guard against it.

Be alert. Stay rooted.

Choose what is right, even in small moments.

Reflection Questions:

• Where are you most vulnerable to compromise?

• What steps can you take to guard your integrity?

Action Step: Identify one area of vulnerability today and take a step to strengthen your integrity in that area.

Prayer

God, help me to guard my heart and actions. Keep me from compromise and strengthen my integrity. Amen.
