Scripture: “A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy person keeps a secret.” — Proverbs 11:13
Devotional
Confidentiality is one of the most sacred responsibilities in accounting. You are entrusted with information that is sensitive, private, and impactful. How you handle that information reflects not only professional ethics, but spiritual integrity.
Trust is built when discretion is practiced consistently. Guarding confidentiality requires discipline—not sharing what is unnecessary, resisting curiosity, and honoring boundaries even in casual conversations. These choices demonstrate respect for both people and God.
God Himself is trustworthy. Scripture repeatedly describes Him as faithful and dependable. When you protect confidential information, you reflect His character and build credibility that goes beyond technical competence.
Today, remember that trust is not maintained by intention alone—it is preserved through deliberate, faithful action.
