Success can be as spiritually dangerous as failure—sometimes more. When numbers are high, commissions are strong, and recognition is flowing, it’s easy to quietly shift from “God has blessed me” to “I’ve earned this.” God warns Israel against that very drift.
Handling success well means you:
Acknowledge God as the source of every opportunity.
Hold money and status with an open hand.
Stay generous, not possessive.
Keep spiritual disciplines and community a priority, even when busy.
You can enjoy success without worshiping it, and you can receive blessing without letting it own you. Ask God to keep your heart anchored in Him so that every victory becomes fuel for gratitude, not grounds for pride.
