Scripture: “Faithful are the wounds of a friend.” — Proverbs 27:6 (ESV)

Devotional

Some of the hardest moments in real estate are the honest conversations—telling a seller their price is unrealistic, sharing difficult inspection findings, or gently explaining why an offer fell through. These moments stretch your courage and test your honesty.

But truth spoken in love is one of the greatest gifts you can give a client. They may not welcome it initially, but they will benefit from it eternally. Avoiding difficult truths may spare discomfort temporarily, but it leads to greater disappointment later. Faithfulness means telling the truth even when it’s uncomfortable.

Jesus never avoided hard conversations. He spoke truth with grace—boldly yet compassionately. As His ambassador, you are called to communicate with that same balance: honesty without harshness, clarity without cruelty, kindness without compromise.

Ask God for wisdom before every difficult conversation. He will give you the right words, tone, and posture. And when you speak truth in love, you protect your client, strengthen your credibility, and glorify God through your courage.

Reflection Questions:

·       What hard conversation am I avoiding right now?

·       How can I prepare my heart to speak the truth with grace?

·       Have I confused kindness with avoidance?

Prayer

Lord, give me courage to speak truth in love. Help me communicate with clarity and compassion. Guide my words so they honor You and bless those I serve. Amen.
