Honoring God Through Preparation [Financial Advisor #173]
Scripture
“The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance.” — Proverbs 21:5.
Devotional
Preparation is often invisible.
Clients see the meeting.
They see the presentation.
They see the recommendation.
What they do not see are the hours spent preparing.
The research.
The planning.
The thoughtful consideration behind the scenes.
Preparation is an act of stewardship.
It demonstrates respect for those you serve and gratitude for the opportunities God has given you.
Scripture consistently praises diligence. God honors those who prepare carefully and approach responsibilities with intentionality.
Preparation does not guarantee perfect outcomes.
But it positions you to serve with excellence.
It helps you anticipate challenges.
It strengthens your confidence.
It increases your effectiveness.
More importantly, preparation reflects a heart committed to honoring God through faithful effort.
Too often people pray for success while neglecting preparation.
God calls us to both prayer and diligence.
Trust Him fully.
Then prepare faithfully.
The combination of dependence on God and diligent preparation creates a powerful foundation for service.
