Scripture: “Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out.” — Proverbs 10:9 (ESV)
Devotional
In banking, trust is everything. Clients trust you with their finances. Institutions trust you with responsibility. Colleagues trust you to operate ethically.
But integrity is not just about maintaining trust with people—it’s about honoring God.
Integrity means doing what is right when no one is watching. It’s choosing honesty over convenience, transparency over manipulation, and truth over personal gain.
You may face moments where cutting a corner seems small or harmless. A detail overlooked. A conversation framed differently. A decision justified for the sake of results.
These moments matter more than they appear.
Integrity is not built in big moments alone—it’s formed in consistent, small decisions over time. And once compromised, it’s difficult to restore.
But when you walk in integrity, something powerful happens. You gain confidence—not in yourself, but in the fact that you are aligned with truth. You no longer have to manage appearances or maintain a false narrative.
You walk securely.
Today, choose integrity—not because it’s easy, but because it reflects the character of the God you serve.
Reflection Questions:
• Are there areas where I am tempted to compromise integrity?
• How do I respond when pressured to prioritize results over truth?
• What does walking securely in integrity look like for me today?
Action Step: Make one decision today that prioritizes integrity, even if it costs you convenience or recognition.
Prayer
Lord, strengthen my commitment to integrity. Help me to choose what is right in every situation. May my work reflect Your truth and righteousness. Amen.
