Scripture: “Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.” — Philippians 2:4 (ESV)
Devotional
Representing buyers is a sacred responsibility. Families look to you for wisdom, protection, and clarity as they make one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives. This means your loyalty must be unwavering.
Integrity in buyer representation means:
• Advising clients honestly even if it delays your commission
• Warning them when a home is overpriced or problematic
• Putting their needs above your schedule
• Encouraging patience when rushing could hurt them
• Advocating for fairness, even if it costs you leverage
When you represent buyers with integrity, you reflect the sacrificial love of Christ—who always puts the well-being of others before His own comfort. You become a guardian, a counselor, and a steady presence in a stressful process.
When buyers feel protected and valued, they experience Christ through your service.
Reflection Questions:
· In what ways can I better protect and advocate for my buyers?
· Do I ever rush clients toward decisions that benefit me more than them?
· What’s one way I can practice selfless service today?
Prayer
Lord, help me represent my buyers with honesty, caution, and sacrificial care. Give me wisdom to guide and courage to protect. Let my service reflect Your love. Amen
