Integrity in Digital Communication [Residential Broker #59]

Listen to devotional here.

Scripture: “Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up.” — Ephesians 4:29 (ESV)

Devotional

In today’s real estate world, much of your communication happens through texts, emails, and social media. Digital spaces can make words feel less personal, but God calls you to integrity whether typed or spoken.

Integrity in digital communication means:

• Responding with clarity, kindness, and professionalism

• Avoiding passive-aggressive or emotionally charged messages

• Double-checking your tone before clicking “send”

• Refusing to gossip or complain in group chats

• Not posting anything that contradicts your Christian witness

• Using digital communication to build up, not tear down

Every message represents your character. Every post reflects your values. Every email becomes part of your witness.

In a digital world filled with sarcasm, negativity, and criticism, your words can stand out as refreshing, honorable, and full of grace.

Let your digital presence be an extension of Christ’s presence.

Reflection Questions:

·       What tone does my digital communication typically carry?

·       Is there any digital habit that needs correcting?

·       How can I use technology to build others up?

Prayer

Lord, guide my digital words. Let my emails, texts, and posts reflect Your grace and truth. Protect me from careless communication and use my words to bring encouragement. Amen.
