Scripture: “The integrity of the upright guides them.” — Proverbs 11:3 (ESV)
Devotional
Commercial brokerage can blur ethical lines—aggressive underwriting, selective disclosure, pressure from clients, or tempting shortcuts. But integrity is not situational; it is foundational.
Integrity means being the same person in private as in public. It means choosing honesty when exaggeration would help you win a deal. It means representing clients with truth, even if it costs you. It means refusing to manipulate numbers, narratives, or negotiations.
Clients trust brokers who walk in clarity and character. God honors brokers who walk in truth. Integrity may reduce short-term wins, but it multiplies long-term impact—and protects your witness in an industry known for compromise.
Reflection Questions:
· Where is my integrity most tested in this season?
· What boundary can I strengthen to protect my witness?
Prayer
Jesus, make me a person of integrity in every situation. Let Your righteousness guide me more than pressure, competition, or fear. Amen.
