Scripture: “Whoever speaks the truth gives honest evidence.” — Proverbs 12:17 (ESV)
Devotional
Sellers rely on you for expertise, guidance, and honest counsel. They trust you with one of their most valuable assets and expect clarity, truthfulness, and professional integrity.
Integrity in seller representation means:
• Pricing honestly, not flatteringly
• Communicating clearly about market realities
• Offering honest feedback about home condition or repairs
• Disclosing anything that needs disclosure
• Advocating for fairness, even when offers are complex
• Resisting the urge to inflate marketing claims
When you represent sellers with truth and transparency, you protect their long-term well-being—even if it means delivering hard news or challenging unrealistic expectations. Truth spoken with compassion builds trust, even when it stings initially.
Your honesty honors God. Your professionalism honors the client. And your courage strengthens your witness.
Reflection Questions:
· Do I tell sellers what they need to hear, or what they prefer to hear?
· What truth might I need to deliver with grace this week?
· How does honest representation reflect Christ to my clients?
Prayer
Father, help me serve sellers with truth, clarity, and courage. Strengthen my commitment to honesty in every recommendation and conversation. Amen.
