Scripture: “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.” — Luke 16:10 (NIV)
Devotional
In development, the big decisions often get the most attention—major deals, financing structures, project approvals. But it’s the small details that often define your integrity.
Luke 16:10 reminds us that faithfulness in the small things matters deeply to God. The minor decisions—the ones no one else notices—are where character is truly formed.
Integrity in the details might include:
Being accurate in reporting and communication
Honoring commitments, even small ones
Addressing issues instead of overlooking them
Choosing honesty over convenience
Small compromises can lead to larger ones. But small acts of integrity build a foundation of trust and credibility over time.
God sees what others do not. And He values faithfulness in every detail of your work.
Reflection Questions:
Where am I tempted to overlook small details?
Are there areas where I’ve justified “minor” compromises?
How can I demonstrate integrity more consistently?
Prayer
Lord, help me be faithful in the small things. Strengthen my integrity so that every detail of my work honors You. Amen.
