Scripture: “The integrity of the upright guides them.” — Proverbs 11:3 (ESV)
Devotional
In a competitive market, you’ll see agents use shortcuts, exaggerations, and pressure tactics to win business fast. It may seem like these methods work in the moment, but Scripture teaches that integrity—not cleverness—is what truly guides and protects you.
Integrity has a long memory. Your clients may forget market stats or contract terms, but they will remember whether they trusted you. Integrity means you tell the truth even when it could cost you a listing. It means you represent the home accurately, not attractively. It means you treat every buyer and seller with fairness, even if it’s inconvenient.
You don’t have to compromise to succeed. God blesses faithfulness, not manipulation. The Holy Spirit uses your honesty to set you apart in an industry where many bend the truth to get ahead. And when integrity guides you, peace follows—you never have to fear being found out, questioned, or exposed.
Let integrity be your compass. Let it shape your words, your emails, your pricing recommendations, and your negotiations. Success built on truth is success that lasts.
Reflection Questions:
· Where is God inviting me to strengthen my integrity?
· Is there any habit or shortcut I need to surrender?
· What would it look like to let integrity—not pressure—guide me this week?
Prayer
Lord, let integrity guide my steps today. Help me walk in honesty, courage, and purity of heart. Shape my character so every decision reflects Your truth. Amen.
