Scripture: “Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out.” — Proverbs 10:9 (ESV)
Devotional
In the legal world, reputation matters. Your image precedes you—online, in court, at networking events. It’s tempting to focus on appearances: to curate a brand, polish a persona, or project success. But Scripture warns us not to confuse image with integrity.
Image is what others see. Integrity is who you are when no one sees. Image can be crafted in minutes. Integrity is forged over years.
Proverbs reminds us that integrity leads to security. Not the security of flawless outcomes, but the peace of a clear conscience. When you walk in truth, you don’t have to fear exposure. When you act with consistency and honesty, you gain not just influence—but trust.
There may be moments when protecting your image would require compromising your values. Resist the urge. Say no to exaggeration. Own your mistakes. Let your yes be yes. The world may chase optics—but God honors authenticity.
Ultimately, your true legacy will not be your résumé, but your character.

Prayer
Lord, help me care more about being faithful than being impressive. Guard my heart from pride. Let my integrity speak louder than any platform I build.
