Integrity That Flows from the Heart [Sales Professional #50]

Scripture: “Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.” — Proverbs 4:23 (ESV)

Devotional

Ultimately, integrity is not just about behavior—it’s about the heart. Your words, decisions, and actions in sales flow from what is happening inside: your desires, fears, motives, and loyalties. That’s why Scripture urges you to guard your heart with vigilance.

If your heart is dominated by fear, you will be tempted to compromise.

If your heart is driven by greed, you will prioritize gain over people.

If your heart is anchored in Christ, you will increasingly desire what honors Him.

Guarding your heart means paying attention to what shapes and feeds it—what you watch, listen to, dwell on, and agree with. It means regularly inviting the Holy Spirit to search you, cleanse you, and realign your affections with God’s truth.

When your heart is healthy, your integrity at work becomes a natural overflow, not just a forced behavior.

Reflection Questions:

·       What currently has the greatest influence on my heart—fear, greed, approval, or Christ?

·       What inputs (media, conversations, thoughts) are shaping my inner life?

·       How can I more intentionally guard and nourish my heart in this season?

Prayer

Father, help me guard my heart carefully. Expose anything in me that doesn’t honor You and realign my desires with Your will. Let my integrity in sales flow from a heart fully anchored in Christ. Amen.
