Scripture: “We must obey God rather than men.” — Acts 5:29 (ESV)
Devotional
In those moments, your allegiance is revealed. Are you primarily working for your client’s wishes—or God’s standards? Serving a client well never means violating God’s commands. You can advocate fiercely within the bounds of truth, but when you’re asked to cross that line, obedience to God must win.
This may mean you risk a relationship, lose a listing, or walk away from a deal. But those losses are never wasted. God honors those who choose Him over human pressure. He can replace clients; He will not be replaced as Lord.
Reflection Questions:
· Have I ever allowed client pressure to pull me toward ethical compromise?
· What boundaries do I need to clarify in my own heart before the next test comes?
Prayer
Lord, give me courage to honor You even when clients push me toward compromise. Help me serve people well, but obey You above all, trusting that You are my true Provider. Amen.
