Scripture: “Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues with injustice.” — Proverbs 16:8 (ESV)
Devotional
Quota cycles and month-end deadlines can intensify the pressure to compromise. You may feel tempted to overpromise, push too hard, or overlook important details just to hit a number. But God’s Word reorients your priorities: better to have less with righteousness than more through compromise.
Your value is not defined by whether you hit this month’s target. Your worth is not determined by where you end up on the ranking report. You belong to Christ, and He calls you to honor Him first—even when it costs you.
There will be moments where integrity is expensive. But righteousness is never wasted. God sees every sacrifice you make to remain honest, fair, and Christlike. He is able to provide for you, promote you, and protect you in ways no quota report ever could.
Choose righteousness over revenue. God will never fail you for honoring Him.
Reflection Questions:
· Where do I feel the greatest pressure to compromise for the sake of results?
· What would it look like to choose righteousness over revenue in that area?
· How can I remind myself that God—not my quota—is my provider?
Prayer
Lord, give me courage to honor You under pressure. Help me choose righteousness even when it costs me. Remind me that You are my provider and my defender. Amen.
