Integrity When No One Is Watching [Accountant #18]

Scripture: “The integrity of the upright guides them.” — Proverbs 11:3

Devotional

Some of the most important decisions in accounting happen quietly—without oversight, recognition, or immediate consequence. These moments reveal the true foundation of integrity.

Integrity is not proven in public success but in private faithfulness. When you choose honesty without witnesses, accuracy without acknowledgment, and restraint without reward, you reflect a heart anchored in God rather than approval.

God sees what others miss. He values obedience in unseen places because it forms character that lasts. Integrity practiced privately strengthens integrity displayed publicly.

Today, remember that who you are when no one is watching matters deeply to God—and shapes the trust others place in you over time.

Reflection Questions:

  1. Are there unseen moments where integrity is most tested for you?

  2. How does knowing God sees your choices encourage you?

Prayer

Lord, help me walk in integrity at all times. Strengthen my character and guide my decisions, even when no one else sees. Amen.
