Integrity When No One Is Watching [Banker #38]

Integrity When No One Is Watching [Banker #38]

Scripture: “The integrity of the upright guides them…” — Proverbs 11:3

Devotional

Integrity is easy when others are watching. It’s harder in the quiet moments—when decisions go unnoticed, when shortcuts are tempting, when no one would likely know.

But God always sees.

In banking, integrity shows up in how you handle sensitive information, how you communicate details, how you represent options, and how you make decisions behind the scenes. These unseen moments define your true character.

Integrity is not about perfection—it’s about consistency. It’s choosing truth over convenience, honesty over advantage, and faithfulness over personal gain.

When you live with integrity, you build a foundation that cannot be shaken. You also become a trusted reflection of Christ in an industry where trust is everything.

Remember: your witness is strongest not in what you say, but in how you live—especially when no one is watching.

Reflection Questions:

• Where am I most tempted to compromise integrity in my work?

• What would it look like to choose righteousness in that area today?

Action Step: Identify one area where you can strengthen your integrity and commit to a specific change.

Prayer

Lord, help me to walk in integrity at all times. Strengthen me to choose what is right, even when it is difficult or unseen. Amen.
