Scripture: “Whoever walks in integrity walks securely.” — Proverbs 10:9 (ESV)
Devotional
Healthcare demands trust. Patients trust you with their bodies, their information, and often their lives. Colleagues trust you to do your part with diligence and honesty. Integrity is not just a professional requirement—it is a spiritual calling.
But integrity is most clearly revealed when no one is watching.
It’s easy to do what’s right when accountability is visible. It’s harder when shortcuts are tempting, when no one would notice, or when pressure pushes you toward compromise. Yet those quiet moments define your character.
Integrity means choosing honesty in documentation, accuracy in reporting, and transparency in communication—even when it’s inconvenient. It means admitting mistakes rather than covering them. It means doing what is right because it honors God, not because it protects your reputation.
God sees what others don’t. He values faithfulness in the unseen places.
Your integrity is part of your witness. It reflects a deeper allegiance—not to the system, not to outcomes, but to Christ.
Walk in integrity today, not because it’s easy, but because it’s right.
Reflection Questions:
• Are there areas where you feel tempted to take shortcuts or compromise?
• What would it look like to choose integrity in those moments today?
Action Step: Be extra intentional today in one area of your work (documentation, communication, or follow-through) to ensure complete honesty and accuracy.
Prayer
Lord, help me to walk in integrity in all things, even when no one is watching. Strengthen my character and let my work reflect Your truth. Amen.
