Integrity When You’re Treated Unfairly [Residential Broker #78]

Integrity When You’re Treated Unfairly [Residential Broker #78]

Scripture: “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” — Romans 12:21 (ESV)

Devotional

Real estate can be unfair. Deals collapse through no fault of your own. Agents act unprofessionally. Clients blame you for things outside your control. Sometimes you are misrepresented, misunderstood, or taken advantage of.

Integrity is tested most in unfair moments.

You cannot control how others treat you—but you can control how you respond. When you respond with grace instead of bitterness, with patience instead of retaliation, you demonstrate the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus was treated more unfairly than anyone in history, yet He responded with love, forgiveness, and truth. As His follower, you are called to reflect His character—especially when wronged.

Overcome evil with good today. God will vindicate you in His time.

Reflection Questions:

·       Where have I felt mistreated or unfairly blamed?

·       How is God calling me to respond differently?

·       What does it mean to overcome evil with good in this situation?

Prayer

Lord, strengthen me to respond to unfair treatment with grace. Guard my heart from bitterness and help me trust You with justice and vindication. Amen.
