Scripture: “But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven…” — Matthew 6:20
Devotional
Every day, you help clients think about investments—what to allocate, where to focus, how to grow. But Jesus points to a different kind of investment: treasures in heaven.
Earthly investments matter, but they are temporary. Eternal investments—acts of generosity, faithfulness, service, and obedience—carry lasting value.
As a financial advisor, you are uniquely positioned to help others think beyond the immediate. You can encourage clients to consider legacy, impact, and purpose—not just accumulation.
But this begins with you.
What are you investing in? Not just financially—but spiritually? How are you using your time, influence, and resources to build something that lasts beyond this life?
When your priorities are aligned with eternity, your work takes on deeper meaning.
Reflection Questions:
What does “investing in eternity” look like in your life?
How can you incorporate eternal perspective into your client conversations?
Are your current priorities aligned with what truly lasts?
Prayer
Father, help me invest in what matters most. Guide my heart toward eternal priorities and use my work to build lasting impact.
