Scripture: “In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” — Proverbs 3:6 (ESV)
Devotional:
It’s easy to separate “spiritual life” from “sales life,” but God invites you to acknowledge Him in all your ways—including every appointment, call, proposal, and presentation. That doesn’t always mean praying aloud with clients (though sometimes it might), but it always means quietly turning your heart toward Him.
Before each meeting, you can pray: “Lord, give me wisdom, favor, and integrity. Help me see this person as You see them. Guide my words and guard my heart.”
Acknowledging God reminds you that you are not alone. It invites His leadership into your schedule, your strategy, and your speech. Over time, this habit builds a deep awareness of His presence in the middle of your workday.
He delights to direct the steps of those who depend on Him.
Reflection Questions:
· How often do I consciously invite God into my workday or specific meetings?
· What difference might it make if I paused to pray before each major interaction?
· Where do I most need God’s direction in my schedule right now?
Prayer
Lord, I acknowledge You in my work. I invite You into my schedule, my meetings, and my conversations. Direct my paths, shape my decisions, and be glorified in all I do today. Amen.
