Scripture
“Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.” — Philippians 4:4 (ESV)
Devotional
Rejoicing in the Lord “always” includes stressful seasons, uncertain months, and demanding quotas. Paul wrote these words from prison, not from a vacation. His joy wasn’t rooted in comfort or control—it was rooted in Christ.
You may not be able to rejoice in everything that happens at work, but you can rejoice in the Lord through everything that happens. You can celebrate:
• His constant presence with you.
• His unchanging love for you.
• His sovereignty over your circumstances.
• His promise to use all things for your good.
Joy in the Lord pushes back against the heaviness of pressure. It doesn’t deny difficulty, but it refuses to let difficulty define the atmosphere of your heart. As you rejoice, even quietly, you draw strength from the One who is bigger than your day.

Prayer
Lord, teach me to rejoice in You always. Lift my eyes above my circumstances to see Your goodness and faithfulness. Let Your joy be my strength in the midst of pressure. Amen.
