Scripture
“In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in trust shall be your strength.” — Isaiah 30:15 (ESV)
Devotional
In real estate, the pressure to rush is constant—quick decisions, immediate responses, fast-moving markets, urgent updates. And while speed matters, wisdom matters more. Helping clients doesn’t always mean pushing forward quickly; sometimes excellence requires slowing down.
Slowing down allows clients to think clearly, emotionally process, ask better questions, and avoid regret. It also allows you to pray, gather information, and ensure your guidance is grounded in truth.
Quietness and trust are spiritual strengths. When you slow the pace, you show clients that clarity is more valuable than speed and wisdom more important than momentum.
Excellence is not frantic—it is intentional.
Reflection Questions
• Where am I rushing when I should be slowing down?
• What client needs permission to take more time?
• How can slowing down strengthen my service?
Prayer
Lord, help me slow down where needed. Give me discernment to pace transactions wisely, bringing peace and clarity to every situation. Amen.
