Scripture
“The ear that listens to life-giving reproof will dwell among the wise.” — Proverbs 15:31 (ESV)
Devotional
Experience is one of your greatest teachers. Every situation—successes and challenges alike—offers an opportunity to grow in wisdom.
But growth requires reflection.
It is easy to move quickly from one task to the next without pausing to consider what you have learned. Yet wisdom develops when you take time to evaluate your experiences.
What worked well? What could be improved? What did you learn about yourself, others, or the situation?
God uses your experiences to shape your discernment and strengthen your judgment.
Feedback is also valuable. Listening to others, even when it is difficult, can refine your approach and expand your understanding.
Learning is not a sign of weakness—it is a sign of wisdom.
Be intentional about growing through what you experience.
Reflection Questions
• Do you take time to reflect on your experiences?
• What recent situation could provide valuable insight?
Action Step
