Scripture
“In the same way, let your light shine before others.” — Matthew 5:16
Devotional
There is often a tension in the workplace: how do you live out your faith without feeling forced or overbearing? Scripture gives a simple but powerful answer—let your light shine.
Light does not strive to be noticed. It simply shines. In the same way, your faith should be evident through how you live, how you treat others, and how you carry yourself.
As an accountant, your consistency, integrity, and calm under pressure already set you apart. When these qualities are rooted in your relationship with Christ, they naturally become a testimony. Others may not immediately know why you are different—but they will notice that you are.
Living your faith naturally means being authentic. It means not separating your faith from your work, but allowing it to influence your actions and attitudes. Over time, this authenticity creates curiosity and opens doors for deeper conversations.
You don’t need to perform your faith—you need to live it.
Reflection Questions:
Do I feel pressure to either hide or force my faith at work?
How might authenticity change how I approach my witness?
Where is my faith already visible through my actions?
Action Step
Choose one way today to intentionally reflect Christ through your actions—patience, kindness, integrity, or encouragement.
Prayer
Father, help my life reflect You naturally. Let my actions point to You and create opportunities for others to see Your work in me. Amen.
