Living with an Eternal Perspective [Financial Advisor #105]

Living with an Eternal Perspective [Financial Advisor #105]

Scripture

“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen.” — 2 Corinthians 4:18

Devotional

Financial planning naturally focuses on the future.

You help clients prepare for retirement, manage risk, and pursue long-term goals. These are important responsibilities.

But as followers of Christ, we are called to think beyond even the longest financial horizon.

We are called to live with an eternal perspective.

An eternal perspective changes how you view success.

Success becomes more than assets under management.

More than revenue growth.

More than professional recognition.

Success includes faithfulness, integrity, and Kingdom impact.

It means asking not only, “What am I building?” but also, “Why am I building it?”

Every client relationship becomes an opportunity to serve. Every decision becomes an opportunity to honor God. Every day becomes an opportunity to invest in things that will last beyond this life.

The financial plans you create matter.

But the people you influence matter even more.

When you live with eternity in mind, your priorities become clearer, your purpose becomes stronger, and your work becomes deeply meaningful.

Because the greatest investments are often the ones that cannot be measured on a balance sheet.

Reflection Questions

• How often do you think about your work from an eternal perspective?

• What definition of success are you currently pursuing?

• How can your work create lasting Kingdom impact?

Action Step

Take a few minutes today to reflect on how your current goals align with God's eternal priorities.

Prayer

Lord, help me live with eternity in view. Keep my priorities aligned with Your purposes and use my work to create impact that lasts far beyond this life. Amen.
