Living with Eternal Perspective [Financial Advisor #155]

Scripture

“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen.” — 2 Corinthians 4:18.

Devotional

It is easy to become consumed by immediate concerns.

Markets fluctuate.

Clients come and go.

Goals are achieved and replaced by new goals.

Business challenges arise and eventually pass.

Most of what occupies our attention today is temporary.

Scripture calls us to live with a larger perspective.

An eternal perspective changes how you define success.

Instead of focusing only on income, growth, or recognition, you begin asking deeper questions.

Did I honor God?

Did I serve others faithfully?

Did I use my influence for His purposes?

Did I invest in things that will last beyond this life?

The financial advisory profession provides countless opportunities to make an eternal impact.

Every relationship.

Every act of integrity.

Every moment of encouragement.

Every opportunity to reflect Christ.

These investments carry eternal value.

When eternity shapes your perspective, temporary setbacks lose some of their power.

Success becomes stewardship rather than achievement.

Influence becomes ministry rather than status.

Work becomes worship rather than merely a career.

Live today in light of eternity.

It will transform both your priorities and your peace.

Reflection Questions

What temporary concerns tend to dominate my thinking?

How does an eternal perspective reshape my definition of success?

What investments am I making that will have lasting spiritual impact?

Action Step

Review your current priorities and identify one way you can invest more intentionally in something with eternal significance this week.

Prayer

Lord, help me live with eternity in view. Keep my heart focused on what truly matters and use my work, relationships, and influence for Your everlasting purposes. Amen.
