Many workplaces bring together different generations—older workers nearing retirement, mid-career professionals, young graduates. Each generation has strengths and blind spots. Without grace, these differences can create frustration: “They’re out of touch,” or, “They’re entitled and impatient.”
God values the wisdom that often comes with age and experience. He also delights in the energy and fresh perspective of youth. As a believer, you’re called to honor both. That might mean listening carefully to seasoned coworkers, or being patient and humble with those who are still learning.
Rather than dismissing generational differences, you can see them as complementary. When older and younger workers learn from each other, the whole team benefits. In Christ, generations become a family, not factions.

Prayer
Lord, thank You for the wisdom of age and the energy of youth. Forgive me for any contempt or impatience toward other generations. Help me honor, learn from, and love coworkers older and younger than me for Your glory. Amen.
