When Jesus commands you to love your neighbor, He isn’t only talking about the people on your street. Your “neighbors” include the coworkers in the next cubicle, the supervisor down the hall, the customer on the phone, the client on the screen, and the vendor you’ll never meet in person.
In the workplace, love looks practical. It means treating others with dignity, listening instead of dismissing, telling the truth kindly, giving credit where it’s due, and seeking others’ good—not just your own advancement. It means letting the way Christ has loved you shape how you approach every relationship.
Loving your neighbor doesn’t require dramatic gestures. Often it’s shown in small choices—respecting someone’s time, being patient with their weaknesses, offering help without expecting anything in return. When love shapes your work relationships, your job becomes a daily classroom of Christlike character.

Prayer
Lord Jesus, You have loved me so generously. Help me see my coworkers, customers, and leaders as neighbors You’ve placed in my life. Teach me to love them as I love myself, in practical, humble, and Spirit-led ways. Amen.
