Meeting Clients Where They Are [Residential Broker #106]

Meeting Clients Where They Are [Residential Broker #106]

Scripture

“We who are strong have an obligation to bear with the failings of the weak.” — Romans 15:1 (ESV)

Devotional

Not every client is confident. Not every buyer is informed. Not every seller is emotionally ready. Some are overwhelmed, anxious, disorganized, or uncertain. Excellence means meeting clients where they are—not where you wish they were.

This requires compassion, flexibility, and emotional intelligence. It means explaining things multiple times without frustration. It means giving clients space to process. It means offering reassurance when they second-guess themselves. It means being patient when they struggle.

Jesus met people exactly where they were—emotionally, spiritually, and practically. He didn’t expect them to be strong before helping them; He helped them so they could become strong.

Meet your clients with the same grace. Your patience may be the very thing that keeps them moving forward.

Reflection Questions

• Which client needs extra grace from me?

• Do I expect clients to be more prepared than they are able to be?

• How can I adjust my approach to meet people where they are?

Prayer

Lord, help me meet clients with Your grace. Give me patience and wisdom to meet their needs with compassion and excellence. Amen.
