As you conclude this section on work as worship and stewardship, return to this simple, powerful prayer: “Establish the work of our hands.” It acknowledges two truths—your work matters, and you need God to make it last.
You can organize, strategize, and execute with excellence, but only God can give your efforts lasting value. He is the One who can use your emails, conversations, projects, and quiet acts of service in ways far beyond what you see. When you ask Him to establish your work, you are inviting Him to root it in His purposes and weave it into His eternal plan.
Offering your whole work life back to God means saying, “Lord, it’s all Yours—my tasks, my gifts, my time, my influence, my successes, and my failures. Use them for Your glory.” That kind of surrender turns ordinary days into sacred ground.
