Our natural tendency is to protect our reputation. Pride encourages us to make excuses, shift blame, or hope that no one notices. Yet Scripture teaches that humility and honesty are always the better path. A willingness to acknowledge mistakes demonstrates integrity, strengthens trust, and creates opportunities for learning and improvement.
Owning a mistake is not a sign of weakness. It reflects the character of someone who values truth above personal pride.
