Scripture: “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” — Isaiah 26:3
Devotional
Deadlines, client expectations, market pressures, personal responsibilities—these can pile up quickly. But the peace of God isn’t reserved for slow seasons. It’s available in the midst of pressure, when your heart is most tempted to panic.
Isaiah reminds us that peace is not the absence of problems—it’s the presence of trust. A steadfast mind—a mind anchored in God, not circumstance—experiences calm in chaos. When your peace is rooted in results, it will always be unstable. But when it’s rooted in God’s unchanging faithfulness, it becomes secure.
Before every meeting, report, or conversation, pause. Ask God for peace. Not just so you can feel better—but so you can lead better. A peaceful presence can calm an anxious client, bring clarity to a tough decision, and show others the quiet strength of faith.
Reflection Questions:
What current pressures are threatening your peace?
Where are you leaning on your own strength instead of trusting God fully?
How can you cultivate a habit of turning to God for peace throughout your workday?
Prayer
Father, keep my mind steadfast in You. Let peace guard my heart when pressure rises. Help me carry calm into every space I enter today.
