Scripture: “Your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.” — Matthew 6:32 (ESV)
Devotional
Commission-based income, shifting compensation plans, and changing markets can create constant financial uncertainty in sales. You may wonder, Will this be enough? What if things slow down? Jesus addresses these fears by reminding you of something foundational: your Father already knows what you need.
This doesn’t remove the need for wise financial planning or diligent work, but it frees you from living in panic. You are not an orphan scrambling to provide for yourself; you are a child of God under the care of a loving Father.
He knows your bills, your responsibilities, your family needs, and your future. He may provide through sales, through unexpected opportunities, or through ways you cannot anticipate—but He is not unaware.
When your compensation feels unpredictable, your Father is not. He is steady, faithful, and fully aware of your needs.
Reflection Questions:
· How much of my mental energy is consumed by financial anxiety?
· Do I believe, deep down, that my Father truly knows and cares about my needs?
· What practical step of trust can I take today regarding my finances?
Prayer
Father, thank You that You know my needs before I ask. Calm my fears about money and help me trust Your faithful provision. Teach me to work diligently and rest deeply in Your care. Amen.
