Scripture: “By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” — John 13:35 (ESV)
Devotional
At the heart of healthcare is care—and at the heart of your calling is love.
Your work provides countless opportunities to reflect Christ. Every interaction, every decision, every response can communicate something about who you follow.
Love is not just a feeling—it is an action.
It is expressed through patience, kindness, humility, and sacrifice. It is seen in how you treat patients, coworkers, and even difficult situations.
Jesus made it clear that love is the defining mark of His followers.
When you serve with love, you become a visible reflection of Him.
People may not remember every detail of your work, but they will remember how you made them feel.
Let your care reflect Christ’s love today.
Reflection Questions:
• Does your care consistently reflect Christ’s love?
• What might need to change in your attitude or actions?
Action Step: Choose one interaction today and intentionally respond with Christlike love, regardless of the situation.
Prayer
Jesus, help me to reflect Your love in everything I do. Let my care point others to You. Amen.
