Scripture: “Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still; teach the righteous and they will add to their learning.” — Proverbs 9:9
Devotional
Growth does not end with experience. No matter how long you have practiced accounting, there is always more to learn—technically, relationally, and spiritually. A teachable heart remains open to growth.
Scripture celebrates those who continue learning. Teachability reflects humility and wisdom. It prevents stagnation and strengthens effectiveness.
Remaining teachable means welcoming feedback, pursuing development, and acknowledging areas where improvement is needed. It also means seeking God’s ongoing refinement of your character.
God shapes you not only through success, but through learning. When you remain teachable, you allow Him to deepen both your skill and your faith.
Today, approach your work with openness. Growth honors God and strengthens your calling.
Reflection Questions
In what areas is God inviting you to grow right now?
How can you cultivate greater openness to learning?
Prayer
Lord, keep my heart teachable. Help me continue growing in skill, wisdom, and faithfulness. Amen.
