Scripture: “Man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.” — 1 Samuel 16:7 (ESV)
Devotional
It’s easy to size up clients based on budget, preparedness, or personality. But God sees beyond outward appearances—and He calls you to do the same. Every client, regardless of price point or personality, is a person made in the image of God with a story He cares about.
Some clients will test your patience. Others will surprise you with gratitude. Some will be organized; others will be chaotic. But each one is an opportunity to show Christlike love.
Ask God to help you see clients as He sees them—not as transactions, but as souls. Not as workloads, but as divine appointments. When you work from this place, compassion deepens, judgment fades, and ministry flows naturally.
Reflection Questions:
· Do I treat all clients with equal respect and care?
· Who is God calling me to view with more compassion today?
· How would my attitude change if I saw each client as a divine appointment?
Prayer
Lord, give me Your eyes for the people I serve. Help me look beyond externals and love each client as You do. Let my interactions reflect Your heart. Amen.
