Scripture: “Through love serve one another.” — Galatians 5:13 (ESV)
Devotional
Sales is fundamentally about service—identifying needs, solving problems, providing solutions, and helping others succeed. When you view your role through the lens of service, everything changes.
Service redefines success.
Service redefines motivation.
Service redefines conversations.
Service redefines relationships.
When you focus on serving rather than selling, clients feel valued rather than pressured. They sense authenticity instead of agenda. You honor Christ by placing others’ needs above your own.
Jesus demonstrated a life of service—washing feet, healing the broken, caring for the overlooked. When you approach sales as a ministry of service, you follow His example in the marketplace.
Reflection Questions:
· Does my approach feel more like service or selling?
· How can I show genuine love and care in my next client interaction?
· What opportunities today allow me to serve others in meaningful ways?
Prayer
Lord, make me a servant in my sales work. Help me love others through the way I communicate, advise, and support them. Let service—not self—define my success. Amen.
