Major decisions shape the trajectory of development projects—and sometimes entire seasons of life. Land acquisitions, partnerships, financing commitments, expansion opportunities, and strategic shifts all carry significant weight.
Because of this, major decisions should never be approached casually.
It is easy to rely entirely on experience, market research, or professional instincts. While these are valuable tools, Scripture calls you to something deeper: acknowledging God in all your ways. This means intentionally inviting Him into every major decision rather than treating prayer as a final step after plans are already formed.
Seeking God requires more than asking Him to bless your preferred outcome. It involves surrendering your plans, listening carefully, and remaining willing to change direction if necessary.
Sometimes God provides clarity through peace. Sometimes through wise counsel. Sometimes through closed doors that redirect your path. Discernment often develops gradually as you seek Him consistently.
A spiritually grounded leader recognizes that success without God’s direction is not true success. The goal is not merely to make profitable decisions—it is to make faithful ones.
God sees outcomes and implications far beyond your perspective. As you seek Him sincerely, He promises to guide your path with wisdom and purpose.

Am I willing to adjust my plans if God redirects me?

Before moving forward on a major decision, set aside dedicated time to pray specifically for God’s direction and wisdom.

Lord, guide me in every major decision I face. Help me seek Your direction above my own preferences and trust You with the path ahead. Amen.
