Scripture: “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” — Matthew 5:8 (ESV)
Devotional
Purity of heart means your motives are clean, your intentions are honest, and your actions align with God’s standards. In sales, motives matter. Are you serving or manipulating? Helping or pushing? Caring or simply closing?
A pure heart leads to pure actions—clarity, honesty, transparency, patience, and sincerity. Impure motives lead to pressure, exaggeration, half-truths, and compromised character.
Jesus blesses the pure in heart with the promise of “seeing God.” When your motives align with His heart, you begin to see Him working in your conversations, relationships, opportunities, and outcomes.
A pure heart does not mean perfection; it means alignment. Ask God to purify your motives so your work reflects His nature.
Reflection Questions:
· What motives tend to creep into my work that don’t reflect God’s heart?
· How can I align my intentions with Christlike service today?
· What does a “pure-hearted” sales conversation look like?
Prayer
Lord, purify my motives. Align my heart with Yours so my actions, words, and decisions flow from sincerity and integrity. Help me sell with a heart that honors You. Amen.
