Scripture: “Whoever would be great among you must be your servant.” — Mark 10:43 (ESV)
Devotional
Leadership in sales is often measured by numbers, rankings, and performance. But Jesus redefines leadership entirely: true greatness comes through serving others.
Whether you lead a team or simply influence your clients, you are called to lead with humility and service. Servant leadership means you celebrate others’ success, support coworkers without competition, listen more than you speak, and genuinely want clients to receive what benefits them most.
In sales, servant leadership stands out. The world expects pressure, manipulation, or self-promotion. Christlike leadership surprises people—it disarms tension, builds trust, and reflects the heart of Jesus.
Every sales professional is a leader because every sales professional has influence. Use yours to serve, not to dominate. When you choose to lead with humility, God elevates your impact beyond what skill alone can accomplish.
Reflection Questions:
· Do I lead with service in my conversations and relationships?
· How can I be a servant to my clients and coworkers today?
· What would Christlike leadership look like in my role?
Prayer
Jesus, shape me into a servant leader. Help me model humility, compassion, and care in every interaction. Use my influence to bless others and glorify You. Amen.
