Scripture: “Your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” — Matthew 6:4b
Devotional
Much of what you do will never be noticed. The late-night research. The client call that went beyond the hour. The honest advice that cost a commission. The prayer you whispered before a meeting. But while others may overlook it, God sees every act of faithfulness.
Jesus reminded His followers not to live for public approval, but for the Father who sees in secret. That includes your professional life. When you act with integrity, serve with humility, and work with diligence—even when no one applauds—God takes note. And His reward is eternal.
Don’t let obscurity discourage you. The unseen faithfulness may be the most beautiful offering you give. You are not working for a platform, a bonus, or an award. You are working for the One who sees, who knows, and who promises that your labor in Him is never in vain.
Reflection Questions:
Are there areas of your work where you feel unseen or unappreciated?
How does knowing God sees your hidden faithfulness encourage you today?
In what ways can you reframe your daily work as an offering to the Lord?
Prayer
Lord, thank You for seeing what others miss. Help me stay faithful in the hidden moments. Let my work be an offering of love and devotion to You alone.
