Scripture: “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.” — Ephesians 4:2
Devotional
Patience can be tested daily in banking—difficult clients, repeated questions, delayed decisions, and unexpected complications. In a fast-paced environment, it’s easy to become frustrated or transactional.
But patience is not just a personality trait—it is a fruit of the Spirit.
When you choose patience, you reflect the heart of Christ. You create space for understanding, build trust with clients, and demonstrate a kind of care that stands out in a results-driven culture.
Your patience may be exactly what a client needs in a moment of confusion or stress. It may be what opens the door to deeper trust—or even a spiritual conversation.
Patience is not weakness. It is strength under control. It is choosing to slow down, listen, and respond with grace instead of urgency.
Today, see interruptions not as obstacles, but as opportunities to serve.
Reflection Questions:
• When am I most likely to lose patience at work?
• How can I respond differently in those moments?
Action Step: When faced with a frustrating situation today, pause, take a breath, and choose a patient response.
Prayer
Father, grow patience in me. Help me to reflect Your gentleness and grace in every interaction, even when it’s difficult. Amen.
