Serving Without Judgment [Residential Broker #109]

Serving Without Judgment [Residential Broker #109]

Scripture

“Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment.” — John 7:24 (ESV)

Devotional

Clients come from all walks of life—different financial backgrounds, different levels of preparedness, different personalities, and different stories. It’s easy to form quick judgments: “They’re unqualified,” “They’re difficult,” “They’re emotional,” “They’re picky.”

But judgment clouds compassion and interferes with excellence.

Serving without judgment means seeing clients through the eyes of Christ—valuing their dignity, respecting their journey, and offering grace. It means remembering they may be under financial pressure, emotional strain, or personal difficulty.

Right judgment is discernment, not criticism. It helps you understand needs rather than label clients. It guides your approach, increases patience, and opens ministry opportunities.

People flourish when they feel safe from judgment.

Reflection Questions

• Who do I need to stop judging and start understanding?

• How does judgment affect the way I serve?

• What does Christlike discernment look like in my work?

Prayer

Lord, cleanse my heart from judgment. Help me see clients as You see them and serve with compassion, patience, and grace. Amen.
