Setting Aside Time to Hear God’s Voice [Sales Professional #188]
Listen to today's devotional:
Scripture
“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10 (ESV)
Devotional
Hearing God’s voice requires stillness—and stillness is rare in the sales world. Notifications, meetings, calls, and constant pressure leave little space for quiet. But without quiet, your spiritual discernment dulls.
Set aside intentional moments to be still:
Before your workday begins
During lunch breaks
On walks between meetings
In your car before entering an office
At the end of the day
In the stillness, God often reveals guidance, correction, comfort, and direction you would miss in the noise. Slow your pace enough to hear the whisper of His voice.
Reflection Questions
How often do I create stillness in my day?
What noise or busyness is drowning out God’s voice?
When can I intentionally be still today?
Prayer
Father, teach me to be still. Quiet my mind so I can hear Your voice. Speak to me in the stillness and lead me into Your will. Amen.
