Scripture: “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16)

Reflection:

Actions often speak louder than words, especially in the workplace. Jesus encourages us in Matthew 5:16 to let our light shine so that others may see our good deeds and glorify God. This principle applies to every aspect of our work life.

Your conduct—whether in moments of success or difficulty—can leave a lasting impression on those around you. Honesty, humility, patience, and kindness are powerful testimonies of God’s transforming grace. When coworkers or clients see these qualities in you, they may be prompted to ask about the Source of your hope and strength.

Sharing the gospel through actions doesn’t require perfection. It requires authenticity and consistency. As you navigate challenges or extend

compassion to others, you demonstrate the love of Christ in tangible ways.

Work is an opportunity to plant seeds of faith. Even small acts of kindness or excellence can open the door for deeper conversations about God’s love and salvation.

Application Question / Challenge:

What action can you take today to reflect Christ’s love at work? Consider helping a colleague, offering encouragement, or going above and beyond in a task.

Prayer:

Lord, help me to shine Your light in my workplace through my actions. Teach me to respond with grace, kindness, and humility so that others may see You in me. Use my efforts to glorify Your name. Amen.
